How to Setup Ribbon Workbench
Ribbon workbench is most powerful solution to edit Command bars in Dynamics 365. Here we will discuss how to setup Ribbon Workbench in D365 Instance.
Follow the steps as below.
STEP : 1 – Login to Develop1 Site using the URL : https://www.develop1.net/public/rwb/ribbonworkbench.aspx
STEP : 2 – Click Download Link and Provide the Information as below.
Select the Correct version
Provide Correct Email id so that we will get download link.
STEP : 3 – Go to the registered email id and check for the mail as below.
STEP : 4 – Click the download link to download the managed solution as below.
STEP : 5 – Open Dynamics 365 and Go to Settings -> Customizations -> Solutions
STEP : 6 – Click Import and select the Managed Solution downloaded.
STEP : 7 – Select the file as below.
STEP : 8 – Click the Next button to proceed.
STEP : 9 – Click the Next button to proceed. then the import starts.
STEP : 10 – Import SUCCESS.
STEP : 11 -Close the popup and navigate setting and solutions
You can see the option
STEP : 12 -Click on the Ribbon Workbench Button to open it
STEP : 13 – Keep a note that we should create a custom solution with required entities and components before in hand so that we can select while opening Ribbon Workbench
STEP : 14– Now the UI of Ribbon Workbench Loads
