Create your first Power Portal App using Power Apps

Power Portal is a powerful no-code & less-code way of developing web apps for public users (Un-licensed) interactions with Dataverse records.

In this blog you will come to know how to create a portal app step by step.

You can create power portals using make.powerapps.com portal. Open the make.powerapps.com website and choose correct environment. Click on Apps link and select +New app command. Select Portal.

This will open a prompt where you have to provide portal name, address domain and language. Provide info as you wish and click Create. Make sure the website name must be unique.

Once you click create it will take 20 minutes to provision the portal on your environment. After 20 minutes if you refresh apps areas, you will see your portal app with a companion model driven app called as Portal Management app.

TO see the portal in action, Click on more details option for the portal app and choose Browse.

It will now open the URL in browser and renders the home page as default designed. You can modify the pages as you wish.
