As a best practice we add comments to our code while developing so that any other user or developer can understand what our code snippet is all about.

To have this commenting and note functionality Microsoft Power Automate has a Add Note feature that developers and power users can use for a better visibility and understanding an Action step purpose in a complex power automate flow.

To add a note to an action step, open the power automate or flow in edit mode. Then click on the 3 dots to open the option list and then choose Add Note.

Now it will open the Action step in expanded mode and a note section appears where you can enter your note. once the note entered you can go out of the action step.

Once you have added a note in future if you want you can edit the note by following the same method and choosing Edit note option.
