Early Binding v/s Late Binding in Dynamics 365 Custom code
While writing custom code using dot net for dynamics 365 CE we can write code either using early-binding or late binding. There are many advantages and disadvantages in both lets look both and decide which one you can use.
Late Binding
In late binding we do not need to do entity class generation process. The entity, column names are validated in runtime. Its bit faster in performance. The below image gives you advantages and dis-advantages of late binding with example.
Early Binding
In Early binding we do need to do entity class generation process. The entity, column names are validated in compile time. Its bit slower in performance. The below image gives you advantages and dis-advantages of late binding with example.
